New Singing Talent Attacks Government Cuts

"You broke your promises, And you broke the rules" Ashlea Pearson - Betrayed By You

As we all know, the Government's decision to raise student tuition fees has caused much outrage and anger, as was seen during numerous student protests across the country over the past few months. New singing sensation, Ashlea Pearson, is making her voice heard with her new song Betrayed By You, and she wants you to get involved in spreading her message further.

When asked why she has written this song, Ashlea said: "I'm a big supporter of the many anti cuts campaigns. I'm a singer/songwriter supporting the protests through my music. I'm so appalled at the way this coalition government is attacking so many of us through their savage cuts and policies. Cuts which will affect students, young people and the disadvantaged people in our society."

Aswell as spreading the word of her song, Ashlea would like to urge supporters to get involved by taking part in the video shoot for the song and to record a group chorus in readiness for a YouTube launch to coincide with the main March 26th rally.
